Opportunities
Grade 12 Drama Award:
Awarded to a senior drama student for both academic excellence and performance. A monetary award is given at the June Commencement.
Grade 9, 10 and 11 Drama Awards:
Awarded to a drama student in each of the courses from grades 9-11 for academic excellence. The award is given at the Awards Assembly.
Resources
Course Materials and Virtual Access
Theatre Arts makes print resources available to the students through selections of plays, monologues and reference materials based on styles.
Lessons and other resources are available on Google Classroom through Drama and Library collaborations.
Professional Theatrical Productions
A variety of field trips are offered in the Drama Program. Some of the venues the students have visited in their four years of Theatre Arts include: Stratford Shakespeare Festival Theatre, Shaw Festival Theatre, Royal Alexandra Theatre, Bathurst Theatre, The Young People’s Theatre and many more.
